About Us
Pannon Imaging was established in 2015 to deliver small business ingenuity, passion and flexibility to E&P operators. We keep our operations lean so we can focus on providing exceptional quality and economical solutions. Our mission is to provide a first-class experience at a sensible price.
Hungary was one of the pioneering nations to introduce geophysical methods dating back more than 100 years when physicist Loránd Eötvös carried out the first hydrocarbon exploration measurements with his torsion balance in 1915. Our rich history, available infrastructure, low production costs and central European location makes our headquarters in Hungary an ideal place to provide our clients with top quality, low cost and fast service.
Committed to the Environment
We are devoted to reduce our impact on the environment. Our intrinsic motivation was adopted as a company policy to keep our environmental footprint as small as possible.

Testimonials
Oil & Gas Development"My company, O&GD, has used Pannon Imaging (PI) for seismic reprocessing, which entailed a pre-stack merge of five 3D surveys of varying vintages, with a total area of 1400 square kilometers. The data are very good and drilling results have proven that amplitude preservation is excellent. As proof positive of this, synthetic seismograms (including pre-stack) match nicely to the data. Imaging in the deeper part of the structurally complex basin is good even at 4.5 seconds two-way time, and the numerous faults are imaged crisply. I have referred PI to colleagues from other companies and have heard equal satisfaction from them."
“Vermilion Hungary used the services of PI in multiple projects in Croatia, Slovakia and Hungary. In Croatia, vintage 2D seismic data re-processing and newly acquired 2D seismic data processing have been done by PI in a structurally complex area. Re-processing results showed clear improvement compared to previous processing versions. In Slovakia, corrupted 2D seismic field data files have been restored before re-processing, and it has been done professionally. The multi-client 3D seismic re-processing idea helps interested companies to evaluate upcoming concession blocks without having to invest large capital, but still have the benefit of modern technology reprocessing results.”
